Due to extenuating circumstances the London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital is currently only accepting patients that are referred by their regular veterinarian or a telemedicine service.
For this reason, we have entered a partnership with a telemedicine company to try to help best serve our clients and patients after hours.
We are dealing with Smart.Vet which offers after-hours consultations with an Ontario licensed veterinarian through a telemedicine service.
Smart.Vet has initiated a telephone triage line: 1-647-695-5411. There is no charge to the client for this phone call.
This is a telephone line answered by a registered veterinary technician to help with triage, determining what cases can wait until we are open again, which can be handled by a telemedicine consult veterinarian, or those that need to be directed immediately to an emergency hospital.
